PHILOSOPHY
The Huskies Football Camp is a non-contact camp. The main goal of the camp is to teach the fundamentals of Offense, Defense, and the Kicking Game to each participant. Important skills are taught through individual instruction and drills and culminating in "lead up" games where all the skills are brought together. Our most important goal is that the kids have FUN while learning and playing the great game of football!
FORMAT
Players are divided into 4 different age groups: Grades 3/4, Grades 5/6, Grades 7/8 and Grades 9/10. Athletes entering Grades 3-6 are taught skills relating to every position, as well as kicking and punting. Athletes entering Grades 7-10 will choose an offensive and defensive position and will practice at those positions throughout the week.

If you are looking for a chance to get better this summer, follow the link to the football camps/combines that appears below. It will lead you to a Google Sheet that was put together by Coach Williams. It lists dates and locations of camps throughout the Midwest along with information about age and position of the players the camp is geared for. We will continue to update the spreadsheet as we become aware of more camps. Let me know if I made any errors on the spreadsheet and I will get it corrected ASAP!
Owatonna has been sending Quarterbacks to Coach Trickey's Camps for almost 20 years. Coach does a great job teaching throwing mechanics, read progressions, and how to attack a variety of coverages. All our QB's have come back to us better for the experience. Check out Coach Trickey's Camps in Chanhassen this summer!
