The Owatonna Huskies Football Team held its annual awards banquet Sunday, December 4th at the Owatonna Eagles Club.  In addition to the each Varsity player and manager receiving their letters, several major team awards were handed out.  Here is a list of award winners for the past season:

Special Teams Player of the Year:  Josh Nelson
Offensive Player of the Year:  Jason Williamson
Defensive Player of the Year:  Ben Staska
Champion of the Year:  Jacob Gauthier
Lineman of the Year:  Nathan Deason
Most Valuable Players:  Ben Staska and Alex Raichle

2017 Football Captains:  Mitch Wiese, Abe Havelka, Zach Mensink, and Alex Raichle
