Fall Season 2023 Information

A tackle football program for players in 3rd and 4th Grade. The program is designed to provide a fun and safe environment for participants to learn and develop their skills in the game of Football. The program consists of practices, scrimmages and games throughout the season, with a focus on developing the fundamental skills needed to play the game of Football, including passing, catching, blocking, and tackling.

Safety is a top priority within the program, with coaches emphasizing proper use of equipment and good technique in order to reduce the risk of injury. Players will be required to wear helmets, shoulder pads, and other protective gear during all practices, scrimmages, and games and coaches will monitor for any signs of injury or fatigue.

-Scrimmage Dates: September 14, 21, 28, October 5, 12
-Game Dates: September 16, 23, 30, October 7, 14
-Practices will be scheduled and announced by the coaches. Players will meet with their coach at the first practice. 

Cost: $87 ($97 after August 10)

First Practice and Team Meeting-August 24, 6:30-7:45 PM, New OHS Stadium

Equipment needed:  Shoulder pads, mouth guard, football pants with integrated pads, and cleats. The Parks and Recreation Department will supply helmets and football jerseys. These must be returned at the completion of the season.
